We can help organize catered food, so you can cater to your guests!
Jack's partners with Jtown Pizza and Spread, both conveniently located just one block away in Japantown, to provide delicious catering for your event.
When you book catering through Jtown Pizza or Spread, your order includes:
Wire chafers to keep food warm
Paper plates
Napkins
Utensils
Serving utensils
Your catered food will be delivered to Jack's patio at your requested delivery time, so everything is fresh and ready for your guests.
You're also welcome to bring in outside catering. If you choose to do so, please note that you will need to provide your own plates, napkins, utensils, and serving utensils.
Please note: Catering from Jtown Pizza or Spread will be billed on a separate invoice and includes an automatic 20% gratuity.








Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a private event?
Simply select the area you'd like to reserve and complete the online inquiry form. Our Event Coordinator will contact you to help plan a fun and stress-free event, including assisting with catering through Jtown Pizza or Spread if desired.
A $50 deposit is required to reserve your space. On the day of your event, the host's credit card will be pre-authorized and the beverage tab will remain open until the required beverage minimum has been reached. Once the minimum is met, the host may choose to close the tab or keep it open.
Private event invoices include:
Beverage minimum
Any add-ons
Applicable taxes
20% gratuity
Please note that promotional gift cards and additional discounts cannot be applied to private event invoices.
Are kids allowed?
No. Jack's operates under a license that permits entry only to guests who are 21 years of age or older.
A valid physical government-issued photo ID is required for entry. Photos of IDs on mobile phones, DMV paperwork, or temporary documents are not accepted.
Do you offer catering?
Yes! We partner with Jtown Pizza and Spread, both conveniently located just one block away in Japantown.
When you order catering through either restaurant, your order includes:

Your food will be delivered to your event at your requested delivery time, so it's fresh and ready for your guests.
Can I bring outside catering?
Absolutely! Outside catering is welcome. However, outside caterers must provide their own plates, napkins, utensils, and serving utensils.
What fees and taxes should I expect?
A 2% booking fee is applied to food and beverage, decoration fees, TV usage, and entertainment fees before tax.
A 20% gratuity is applied to beverages before tax.
A 9.375% sales tax applies to all food and beverage purchases.
What is your cancellation policy?
7 or more days before your event: 100% refund
Within 7 days of your event: 50% refund
Within 72 hours of your event: Non-refundable
Please note that all refunds are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee, regardless of the cancellation date.
What should I do when I arrive?
Please check in with a Jack's team member and let them know your party has arrived.
Your reserved area will be available 15 minutes before your scheduled event for decorating and setup.
Can I decorate my reserved area?
Yes! You're welcome to decorate your space.
Please do not use confetti or balloons filled with confetti. If Jack's staff is requested to clean up decorations after your event, a $25 decoration cleanup fee will apply.
Can I use your TV for a slideshow or video?
Yes! If you'd like to display a slideshow or video, please bring your own laptop and HDMI cable.
A $25 TV usage fee applies.
Can I bring my own dessert?
Yes! You're welcome to bring desserts from an outside bakery or vendor.
Can I bring my own wine?
Yes. Outside wine is permitted with a $15 corkage fee per 750 ml bottle.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Outside beer, liquor, or other alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Jack's property. Guests found with outside alcohol will be asked to leave the premises.
What if my party doesn't reach the beverage minimum?
If your party does not reach the required beverage minimum, the remaining balance is still the responsibility of the host.
Unused minimums are not refundable, and any remaining alcohol may not be taken from the venue. We recommend planning accordingly to avoid any surprises.
Can we have a DJ or play amplified music?
Unfortunately, no. Out of respect for our neighboring businesses and residents, DJs, amplified music, portable speakers, boom boxes, and loud music played from cell phones are not permitted.
If amplified music is being used, our staff will kindly ask that it be turned off.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! Dogs are welcome on the patio while it is open.
For everyone's safety, dogs must:
Remain on a leash at all times
Use a standard (non-retractable) leash
Stay off all furniture
What if my group is running late?
Please call (408) 816-8939 as soon as possible if your party will be arriving late.
Because additional events may be scheduled, your reservation will still end at the contracted time. Additional fees may apply if your event exceeds the reserved time. If you think you'll need extra time, please discuss it with a manager when making your reservation.
What happens when my event ends?
Approximately 15 minutes before your event concludes, our staff can begin packaging any leftover food at the host's request.
At the end of your reservation, your reserved area will reopen to the public so we can prepare for the next guests.
